You Have Touched My Life

Muchas Gracias, Dankjewel, Thank you for being a bright spot in my life.
May you always know love and joy in yours.

To the Women who sit on my Sistership Altar

You have touched my life.

Helped it grow.

Swelled my heart

In ways you don’t know.

You have helped me breathe.

Held me tight.

Stayed up talking

Way into the night.

You have giggled, snorted

Belly grunted and farted.

We’ve laughed so hard

We may have sharted.

You have been a sister,

A mentor and friend.

You’ve shown up for me

Again and again.

And whilst time passes,

Our contact may lessen.

The fact remains

You’ve been a blessing.

You have touched my life.

My gratitude is deep.

My love for you strong.

Your kindness in my heart I keep.

Your potions, your presence,

Hand holding and hugs,

Your wisdom, your magic

All of it is love.

Thank you, thank you, thank you,

Times three

For being willing to share

Your sisterhood with me.

Written to inform a special group of women in my life who continue to touch me in positive, uplifting and healing ways. I hope the postcard I sent acts as a reminder that you have impacted my life and no doubt countless others with your heart and kindness. Some of you the contact has been brief, we may have only known each other within the world of the socials. Some of you are lifelong friends, some of you shared my wedding day with me and some of you have been in various courses and the friendship continued outside of the gatherings. All of you are important to me.

JAFA – 20 October 2022

Wee me greets the little one in you with so much gratitude.
